Tijarat cannot be held responsible for personal information that third parties might store, collect or use throughout their website. Prohibited products from being listed or sold

All items that are illegal to be sold in Pakistan are prohibited to be listed or sold on Tijarat. Items below are also not allowed to be listed or sold on Tijarat.

    • - Products and by-products of Animal waste and excrement including Cow Urine and Cow Dung

    • - Animal parts that are deemed as illegal wildlife trade e.g. pangolin and marine turtle body parts including scales, tiger bone and bear bile

    • - Animal snares, traps or catching devices that would cause harm to an animal by any means during catching

    • - Dog prong or pinch collars, or any collar that has inward-facing spikes and that would cause harm to the animal

    • - Electrostatic shock collars used in both training and containment systems for dogs or other animals

    • - Glue traps used in the capture of rodents and other vertebrates

    • - Human remains, body parts or any products made from the human body, except for items containing human hair e.g. wigs

    • - Ivory, ivory trinkets and products containing ivory including teeth sourced from any animal e.g. elephant tusks and elk ivory

    • - Live animals, pets and reptiles.

    • - Mounted animal heads obtained from trophy hunting

    • - Products or media that contain or promote animal abuse

    • - Wildlife items e.g. wild bird eggs
  2. 2. Antiquities and National Heritage Items
    • - Antiquities, archaeological objects and artefacts

    • - Archaeological items including arts, crafts and jewelry found through excavation.


  3. 3. Clothing, Accessories and Cosmetics
    • - Clothing with images of explicit profanity or obscene and sexually graphic images e.g. T-shirts, hats

    • - Clothing with images or logos that infringes on intellectual property rights

    • - Used cosmetics, makeup applicators and sponges

    • - Used socks and underwear e.g. boxer shorts, briefs and pants

  4. 4. Digital Media
    • - Academic or educational versions of software where the license can only be obtained from an educational institute

    • - Bootleg recording from a live show or concert

    • - Copied or duplicated software including "soft-lifted" software

    • - OEM, bundled or Operating System repair, restore or recovery software sold as standalone and not included with the original hardware

    • - Open, unsealed software that is subject to licensing agreements and that may have been duplicated or the license already used

    • - Software keys, license keys or unlocking codes including MSDN keys for all software that is delivered by email or delivery

    • - Software licenses for computer software e.g. 1-year license for Adobe or Microsoft products

    • - Software on a USB flash drive that includes a license key or unlocking code including MSDN keys for all software

    • - Unauthorized digital copies of movies, music, prints, software, videos and video games where the seller provides a download link

    • - Unauthorized digital downloads of PDF books, E-books and literature where the seller provides a download link

  5. 5. Drugs and Dietary Supplements
    • - Full-spectrum cannabinoid extracts e.g. hemp plant extracts including the stalks, leaves and flowers

    • - Human medication listed by an unlicensed seller or un-registered pharmacy

    • - Narcotics, steroids, other controlled substances, and all unlicensed medicines

    • - Pharmacy prescription-only medication that can only be sold by a licensed and registered pharmacist

    • - Products containing Cannabidiol (CBD) or other cannabinoids, and which also include a quantity of THC or THC-V

    • - Products that claim a medicinal benefit that is unsubstantiated

    • - Products that claim to provide a legal high

    • - Smoking apparatus and other drug paraphernalia

    • - Veterinary medication not authorized for sale or requiring a prescription by the VMD

  6. 6. Food and Beverages
    • - Alcoholic beverages including Hard Liquor and Beer.

    • - Any food listed by a seller who does not have a registered business and does not hold a valid license to sell and distribute food products online

    • - Food containing endangered or threatened species

    • - Food containing animal meat of animals that eat other animals, like dogs, Cats, Lions, Tigers etc.

    • - Food containing pig or pork products

    • - Food containing shark or whale meat

    • - Food products containing Cannabidiol (CBD) or other cannabinoids e.g. CBD gummy bears

    • - Food products with an expired "use by" or "expiration" date, or if it would not reach the buyer before expiration

    • - Food products not listing the ingredients and the country of origin on the label and in the product description

    • - Food products that are not properly labelled following local food regulations, or labelled in a way that confuses consumers e.g. different language

    • - Food products that contain any form of an illegal or prohibited drug

    • - Sweets designed to resemble illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia or tobacco products

  7. 7. Guns and Ammunition
    • - Ammunition, kits and associated parts of firearms e.g. silencers, magazines

    • - Firearms, including pistols, rifles and shotguns

    • - Military weaponry including grenades and explosives

    • - Stun guns and tasers

    • - Tear gas, pepper spray and mace

  8. 8. Hazardous and Dangerous Items
    • - Acids such as sulphuric acid and hydrochloric acid

    • - Biocides and pesticides that are harmful chemical products

    • - Combustible materials e.g. black powder, explosive fuses, explosive targets, flares, flash paper, red phosphorous, gasoline, thermite, caps for toy guns

    • - Explosive precursors - see government guidelines for full list e.g. sulphuric acid, sodium nitrate

    • - Fire extinguishers that contain carbon tetrachloride or pyrene

    • - Fireworks and inflammable materials

    • - Chemicals and Gases which are hazardous

    • - Radioactive materials

    • - Toxic substances such as poisons and cancer-causing carcinogenic substances

  9. 9. Intellectual Property
    • - Counterfeit products including fakes, copies or replicas of brand name items that may be deemed to deceive the purchaser

    • - Listing of open, unsealed software that is subject to a licensing agreement as it may have been duplicated or the license already been used

    • - Listing of unauthorized copies of books, movies, music, prints, software, videos and video games

    • - Listing of unauthorized copies of digital downloads e.g. PDF books, E-books, pictures, movies or music

    • - Listing a product which includes a description that encourages downloading unauthorized media

    • - Listing a product which includes copyrighted photos, images or text used on the product page

    • - Listing a product which infringes on intellectual property rights

    • - Unauthorized listing of a product in a specific country or region without the rights owner's consent (parallel or grey import)

    • - Unauthorized listing of a product that was made using a copied invention and which holds a registered patent

    • - Unauthorized listing of a product which has a similar look, shape or configuration to another product which holds a design patent

    • - Unauthorized listing that includes a trademarked brand misplaced in the title of a third party product

    • - Unauthorized listing that includes a trademarked brand, colour, logo, name, phrase, sound, symbol or word

    • - Unauthorized listing that includes a trademarked logo used as part of a product image or description

    • - Utilizing a scraping tool to obtain product data and images from other marketplaces for the intent of creating bulk listings

  10. 10. Offensive and Controversial Materials
    • - Products marketed or targeted at kids or teenagers that are age-inappropriate

    • - Products that are related to terrorist organizations

    • - Products that contain racially derogatory language

    • - Products that contain religiously derogatory language

    • - Products that contain violent or offensive material, with or without historical significance

    • - Products that depict child abuse or exploitation

    • - Products that glorify or promote suicide

    • - Products that glorify, promote or incite hate or violence towards any group or person

    • - Products that promote intolerance based on race and religion

    • - Products and material that promote caste system and prejudice against people of different races and ethnicities

    • - Endangered plants and seeds which are protected under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species

    • - Plants or seeds prohibited by government regulations
    • - Toxic or poisonous plants and seeds e.g. Tobacco, Poppy etc.
  12. 12. Radio Electronics
    • - Electronic surveillance equipment including wiretapping devices and phone bugging devices

    • - Modchips designed to allow video games to play pirated games

    • - Signal jamming devices for mobile phones and GPS radar

    • - Television descrambler devices used to descramble satellite/TV receivers

    • - Pornographic videos, pictures and materials
    • - Indecent, obscene nudity or sexually explicit art, articles, books, cards, engravings, prints, paintings, publications, videos and computer games

  14. 14. Tobacco, E-Cigarettes and Paraphernalia
    • - E-liquids that contain THC or are worded in a way and/or show imagery that would appeal to minors
    • - Herbal cigarettes or herbal tobacco, e.g. nicotine-free or tobacco-free cigarettes or shisha
    • - Nicotine containing products except for smoking cessation products e.g. nasal & mouth sprays, gums, lozenges and patches
    • - Tobacco, or any product that contains tobacco, such as blunt wraps, cigarettes, cigars, dipping tobacco, chewing tobacco, snus and other smokeless tobacco products
